Content management systems are often very slow, is yours any better?

Yes. 123live is very, very quick. Other CMS products require a page refresh whenever you change anything. This slows things right down and puts people off using the CMS.

123live uses an innovative technique whereby changes are sent to the server in the background. Once the CMS has loaded, all the pages are built within the browser rather than loading from the server. The effect is such that you will think they are using a desktop application rather than the internet.

Publishing the site is much quicker than using PC-based web design software because the files are transferred from our high speed servers to the web server at network speed, rather than having to crawl along a dialup or ADSL link.

Picture resizing and rotation is also done on our servers, so there is no need for images to be uploaded more than once.
