I can honestly say that 123live's content management facilities are the most powerful and easiest to use that I have ever come across (that's why I use them for my own site).  In minutes I can add new pages and images, looking just as I want them. Change the navigation? No problem. They also have a marvellous way of charging for their services, which means very little up-front costs.

I have no qualms giving them my strongest personal recommendation.

Hi Tony,

You may recall when we first spoke that I had recently sold my 50% share in a reasonably successful business and my knowledge of IT and anything associated with this was virtually zero.

Therefore it was with a certain amount of dread that I began the DWD adventure as the thought of setting up e-mails and a website seemed like issues well beyond my capabilities.

When it came to the website, I approached several companies, gradually increasing my budget from £500 to £1000 in the hope that I could tempt someone to assist me. No one seemed seriously interested unless I had £3000 to spend (I didn’t) until the FSB recommended you.

123Live provides a very quick and easy method to make changes to a site - it is also updateable anywhere in the world where there is access to the web.

I opted to build the site from scratch rather then trying to get the existing site converted. I built 75 pages in 3 days which shows what an easy process it was. We now have over 135 pages and more are added daily. Coupled to this is the complete control over the navigation through the menu system. There are only three things that are important to any site - navigation, navigation and navigation!

123Live does make it very easy to upload and resize pictures - also the quality of the pictures seem to be very much better than the traditional pre-compressing method.   

I am very much a 123Live fan - it is almost a pleasure being a webmaster!

I have found the service from 123live very efficient, friendly and always willing to help when needed. The actual web site was extremely easy to use and adjust by adding content through the online back office. What is most impressive is the way that changes can be made to the site and uploaded to the web within minutes of deciding to make a change. The problem with most web sites is that they are basically static, once on the web making changes is slow and time consuming (and can be costly). Using 123live a web site could easily be changed and updated daily, if needed, and this can be done by anyone, even without web site experience.

I have been checking my "detailed" single page stat's. They have given me over 60 search phrases to target that I would never have even thought of. This has allowed me to enter relevant areas where my competitors have no presence. They have also allowed me to purchase "pay per click" listings that no one else has so they are at the minimum 4 pence price.  

As a result of this I have seen average visitors leap from around 15 a day to almost 30 and the site is now generating an average of 3 GENUINE business enquiries every day. Needless to say we are delighted.

... Just for your info, each month BT email me to say how many hits I've had on my website. Each month its about 1300 to 1500. I always thought it strange that so many hits never led to any sales or enquiries. I realise now, their figures are just fantasy. After looking at your stats, I am only getting a couple of hits a day and they are from friends I bet. Where they get their stats from is anyone's guess or, being cynical, is this just a ploy to boost themselves. Interesting!!

Now we are running properly, I'll start to push the site more.

You asked me some time ago if I minded if you used a testimonial from us etc etc, if you want to, please do.

We have found you excellent to work with and the website is simplicity itself to update. I would recommend you to anyone.
