We're a small company with big ambitions. Back in 2001 we recognised that most companies are totally 'disconnected' from their website. While a lot of companies spend good money on a pretty website, it does little for their sales as getting the content updated is often a nightmare.

So, we started with a mission, a mission to tear down the technology barriers between a business owner and their website. We wanted to enable people to simply type straight into their website, from any computer, without having to get technical and without ending up with a cheesy 'click and pick' website design.

Very early on we decided that conventional web technologies were too slow and cumbersome for the average hard pressed business person or copywriter, so we came up with a new technology that provides a much faster and more user-friendly interface, even though it's delivered over the internet. This technology has recently been christened AJAX and it's the new buzzword of the internet world.

We are located in Andover in North Hampshire but we deal with companies all over the UK because our design process means we don't have to meet with our clients in person.

People ask us what type of companies we do business with. The answer is pretty much any business. We provide updateable websites for one man bands, SMEs up to PLCs, it's more the type of website rather than the type of company. We specialise in non-ecommerce 'marketing' websites that can be updated quickly and easily.

The people that like us most are those that are tired of websites with flashy gizmos and meaningless graphics, and they've been through the pain of getting a 'friend of a friend' to sort out their website on the cheap. They are people that want a workhorse website that is clear, concise, easy to navigate and easy to update (and of course they want it to look good).

We don't do a lot of advertising. We prefer to spend the money on developing and continually improving our CMS software, and providing our clients with first class support. The strategy is working and we now have hundreds of clients, with most of our new business coming via referrals from existing clients.

As the chief designer of our award winning CMS software I'm passionate about usability. Every change to our software has to make something easier, or quicker, or provide a new feature of genuine benefit to our client base.
